Scriptural Answers to 37 Questions People are Asking about Racial Tension in the Church

If you’ve tired of reading all the latest resources on racial tension that tout Critical Race Theory or human wisdom with a Christian veneer as the solution to our problems, here’s a book that you may find truly refreshing. This book is written on the premise that Jesus is the answer to racial tension, that the Bible is sufficient as our instruction manual, and that the church as designed by God is the solution.

This book is for the church — not the world. The world does not know Jesus, and thus will always be plagued with the darkness of racism, along with all other sins. Yet among the church, the blood of Jesus is enough to fix the problem. All Christians must do is apply the principles found in His last will and testament. Congregations of His church should be places of serenity–a taste of paradise comprised of Christians who love, laugh, and assume the best about one another.

Us four authors–Hiram Kemp, Melvin L. Otey, Glenn Colley, and myself–proceed to tackle 37 questions we identified as being most pertinent. Take a look at what we we selected:

As Satan uses racial tension to destroy relationships in the church, this book might help you better find the Bible’s path to restoration. You may find this book especially helpful if you have struggled to find adequate balance on the subject. Some congregations are even using this as a class book. The four of us would probably say that writing this book together was a growing process for each of us. I know it was for me. Though challenging at times, we finished this project with a greater friendship with one another. Isn’t that the goal? For people who have a shared love for God’s word to be able to discuss this issue and grow in love for one another.
